It looks like local designer Michael Cepress likes to dab at costume designing for the stage as well. Michael will have his costume designs on the dancers at the Havana Social Club on December 12th, 2010 for the Theatre of the Void fundraiser. In the midst of thaw, last spring’s HDSA-benefiting local fashion show, organizer Liz Weber received a recurring suggestion amidst the positive feedback: a thaw for kids. Hence, the thaw Collective Indie Kids Fashion Show was born.

Tonight the Velouria boutique and gallery added Seattle’s sharpest menswear designer, Michael Cepress, to its independent designer repertoire. This coming together of remarkable Seattle forces was dubbed the Bow Tie Bash, and the rest is history.
