Get Your Lip Goo by AloeForMocha

This week’s Fab Find is Lip Goo by AloeForMocha. What makes this lip gloss so fabulous? Well,  let me tell you! For those familiar with MAC’s Lipglass, it is similar but better. It is the same consistency but less tacky and is actually good for your lips. The fact that it is sheer means you can use over any of the wonderful lipsticks you already own to give that special umf! But where Lip Goo really stands out is on the ingredients. The gloss containts Peppermint Oil, Aloe Vera and Shea Butter, all which help to nourish, condition and protect your lips. I am hooked on the cooling sensation and the fresh scent of the peppermint oil!

On a personal note, another reason I picked it as the Fab Find it is because the product is not only locally made in Seattle but the company who makes it, AloeForMocha, is a skincare and cosmetic company aimed at addressing the skincare needs of women of color. As a Latina, it is not always easy to find products that meet my needs and it is nice to find a company locally that is targeting my needs. Most of their products do target women of darker skin tones such as African, Asian, Indian, Latin, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and mixed-race descent as their site states, which is how I learned about this great product, through my business partner, Shalonne, who uses the Goo. I picked Lip Goo because I think women of any color can fall in love with this fantastic lip gloss. So dark or not, local or not, get your own Lip Goo asap!
